Abstract

The development of information technology has a significant impact on learning. Learning has now entered the digital era which is more serious in transforming. Islamic Religious Learning (PAI) requires adaptation to various situations and circumstances of the times. Utilizing digital media adapted to the current development of information technology is predicted to be able to realize learning transformation. Utilization of Gmail solutions from other alternative parts. Where the Gmail platform has been widely used by internet users around the world. However, the lack of knowledge about Gmail media in learning Islamic religious education at SMA Negeri 1 Muara Batu based on initial observation data. The question in this study is how the utilization of Gmail media in learning Islamic religious education at SMA Negeri 1 Muara Batu. The purpose of the study was to discuss the utilization of Gmail media in learning Islamic education at SMA Negeri 1 Muara Batu. The research method used is Descriptive Quantitative method. The results showed that the use of Gmail media in learning PAI provided various benefits, including ease of communication between teachers and students, as well as increasing student participation in learning. Studying PAI and using innovative features such as collaboration in the preparation of assignments and assessments. In addition, the use of Gmail can expand students' access to learning resources such as electronic teaching materials, video links, and interactive learning materials.
